Inspector Notes

An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted at 9:45am. Observed 4 children = 11 points with the vendor. An adult household member was also present. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed in a variety of activities, to include: playing with toys, coloring, and watching a child appropriate show on TV. An infant in care was being held, fed, and having tummy time on the floor. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Recordkeeping was in good order. No areas of non-compliance were found with standards and laws reviewed. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov
