Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 6 children (17pts) with the Provider and 1 Assistant. The children were playing on the floor with a large school bus. The younger children were within reach of staff to ensure their safety while playing with the older children. A nice transition to another programming space was observed after the children were encouraged to clean up their area. All cribs were inspected, diapering area and the outside area used for play. Plans to plant a garden with fresh vegetables and fruits were discussed. The children will assist with planting and the produce will be served to the children once harvested. A total of 3 children's records, both staff and all household records were reviewed. No medication needs onsite, all topical ointments were reviewed and no identified food allergies at this time. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
