An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today. A total of 4 children with 1 staff (12pts) was present. The children were playing in the smaller program room at the beginning of the inspection. The home was found neat and organized. A new climbing structure was observed which included a small slide for children to use. One crib is used for napping for one infant and the remaining children nap on mats at this time. No medication needs and no food allergies identified. Observation of the bathroom, programming space, diapering area, crib room and outdoor space was made. A total of 5 children's records, all staff and all household records were reviewed. The provider and assistant obtained training hours that were diverse in topics over the past year. This inspection occurred approximately between 11am and 12:45pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
