Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted today. There were a total of 4 children (10pts) with the Provider and 1 Assistant. The children were gathered on the floor engaged with animal figurines and taking turns sounding out the noises of each animal. They transitioned to the indoor play equipment and took turns sliding down the slide on the play structure. As the Provider prepared for lunch, the assistant took the children into the smaller program space where they played with toys. Observation of the home was made which included both the large and small program space, bathroom, food preparation area, diapering area and backyard. The children washed hands with assistance from staff and either sat at small tables or were fastened in high chairs. Lunch today was beef, rice, black beans and fresh oranges and strawberries. Ample amounts for second helpings. No medication needs currently. Some topical ointments onsite and were reviewed. A total of 5 children's files, all staff and household member files were reviewed and found current. This inspection began at 10:15am and ended at 12pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
