During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated and completed on March 3, 2025. The inspection started at 9:50am and concluded at 11:15am. There were two children present and one caregiver; the point total was four. The inspector reviewed four children?s records, one caregiver record and three household member's record on-site. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program

The vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. The vendor did not have hard copy record of daily attendance. The last daily attendance documentation was 9/26/2024.
Plan of Correction: I will keep the daily attendance starting today.
Standard 8VAC20-790-250-F
Caregivers who work directly with children, shall annually attend at least 16 hours of training, to include the department's health and safety update course. The caregiver completed 16 hours of training but did not complete the department's health and safety update course for 2024.
Plan of Correction: I will try to get the course completed this week, but I will definitely have it completed within two weeks.

Children's hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks. Child #2 did not wash his hands with soap and running water or disposable wipes before or after eating snacks (oranges).
Plan of Correction: I always wash their hands and face. I will be sure to wash before and after eating.

Caregiver shall wash their hands with soap and running water before and after preparing or serving food. The caregiver did not wash their hands with soap and running water before preparing and serving Child #2 a morning snack of oranges.
