Inspector Notes

An in-person annual subsidy inspection was conducted on 12/20/2022 from 9:20am to 10:15am. There were (2) children in care with the vendor. The inspector reviewed (2) children?s records and (2) adult/household member records submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.
-Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Based on review of two children's records, the vendor did not maintain all required information in a child's record.
Evidence:
1. Child #2's file (Start date 12/05/2022) did not have documentation of the child's proof of identity.
Plan of Correction: I will remind them today that I need it.
Standard 8VAC20-790-250-F
Based on review of the vendor's training, the department's health and safety update course was not completed.
Evidence:
1. The vendor completed more than 16 hours of training, but did not have documentation of completing the departments health and safety update course.
Plan of Correction: If I am not able to locate it, I will take the training.
