8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
An unannounced annual subsidy inspection was conducted on 2/10/23. The provider and her son were present with 2 children. A total of 4 points. The two children are in the process of potty training. Children were playing with blocks, working on colors with a piggy bank with different color coins and playing with toys during the inspection. The vendor has cooked soup for lunch for today. Discussed the curriculum options and where the vendor can find more information. Discussed that a curriculum can be play based, you do not have to have desks like at school. Lots of interaction between the vendor and the children observed.
