Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, Including telephone contact , documetation review and a virtual tour of the home.

A subsidy health and safety ( SHSI) inspection was initiated on 08/09/2021 and completed on the same day. There were 2 children present with 1 provider supervising. A code compliance inspection was also conducted on this date.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based upon observation, areas and equipment were not kept in clean condition.
Evidence: The room used for the children to play and sleep in was found to have trash located throughout. There were empty food packages, pieces of paper and old food lying on the floor and near the closet area.
Plan of Correction: We will clean up.
Standard 22VAC40-665-380-H
Based upon observation, household member medication was not kept in a locked place as required.
Evidence: There was a bottle of household member medication that was on the wood table next to the seating area used by children in care.
Plan of Correction: We will move.
