Inspector Notes

An in-person annual subsidy inspection was conducted on 9/27/2024 from 10:55-11:38. There were no children present with the vendor. The inspector reviewed 3 children's records and adult/household member background checks and TB clearance documentation, physical space, trainings and nutrition. Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor. Potentially poisonous substances, materials, and supplies such as, but not limited to, cleaning agents, disinfectants, deodorizers, plant care chemicals, pesticides, and petroleum distillates shall be stored away from food areas inaccessible to children.

In an unlocked cabinet near the kitchen table where children eat, there was bleach, bleach water and other disinfectants.

Full sized cribs shall: have mattresses that fit snugly next to the crib so that no more than two fingers can be inserted between the mattress and the crib.

The crib mattress did not fit snugly next to the crib, and the inspector was able to place three fingers between the mattress and the side of crib.

The diapering surface shall be: nonabsorbent and washable.

The changing table was made out of wood, and the top of the changing table was covered with a filled blanket/comforter, creating an absorbent surface for diapering.

In the crib used by infants enrolled in the program, there was a small "sheet" of unidentified pills with a foil backing, laying in the crib.
