Inspector Notes

Conducted an unannounced annual subsidy inspection on 8/19/2022 from 1:50pm to 3:05pm. Observed 4 children (6 points) with the vendor. The children were watching TV and napping during the inspection. The vendor completed the annual child development training requirements.
The home, emergency drills and emergency supplies were inspected. Children's information and vendor records were also reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on interview, the vendor did not have a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

Evidence:
The vendor did not keep a written record of children in attendance each day. There was no attendance documented for the day of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: We will go back to using a clipboard and I will post it on the refrigerator.

Based on record review, the vendor did not practice monthly evacuation drills.

Evidence:
Emergency drills were not documented for the months of June 2022 and July 2022.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure all drills are practiced and documented monthly.
