Plan of Correction: The Director reported the injury to the parents as soon as it happened based on center protocol and the safety of the child. Mom chose to pick up the child as a precautionary step to get checked by medical personnel. After child was checked to be healthy and no medical treatment required, child returned to care. Steps to follow protocol for the company as well as reporting to licensing agency were followed. A retraining with managers to follow the 2 day process was completed.
