Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal visit was conducted today. There were 2 children in care (4 points) with one caregiver.
3 child and 7 caregiver/household records were reviewed. All were complete.
Children were observed playing with toys in the daycare area during the inspection.
Emergency escape drills, emergency supplies, first aid supplies, first aid/CPR certifications, menu, bathroom supplies, diapering area and cribs were all in compliance today.

Based on a review of documentation, there is no annual chimney inspection completed for the wood burning fireplace.
Evidence:
No chimney inspection has been completed for the woodburning fireplace.
Plan of Correction: A chimney inspection will be scheduled as soon as possible. It is not used.

The temperature for the freezer compartment was not maintained at or below 0 degrees F.
Evidence:
The freezer compartment temperature was registered at 9 degrees F.
Plan of Correction: The temperature was lowered during the inspection to 0 degrees F.
