Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on May 24, 2024, from approximately 11:00am -12:43 pm. The inspection was concluded on May 24, 2024.There were 13 children present at this time with 2 staff members. Children were observed eating lunch and preparing for lunch . Three staff records and five children records were reviewed during the inspection. The center does not administer medication and provide transportation. Licensing Inspector reviewed indoor areas, supervision, activities, equipment, emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drill documentation, emergency procedures and required posting. The outdoor area was not inspected.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation , the licensee did not ensure areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside shall be clean safe and operable condition.

In the bathroom, there was a toilet paper dispenser broken with two protruding nails.

Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not ensure that hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, insecticides, and pesticides shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
In the bathroom, the soap on the sink contained a label that stated "Keep out of reach of children" and" warning".
