Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:15 a.m. and ending at 10:45 a.m. with the director and three staff. There were 19 children in care, age 3 years old. Children were observed participating in morning centers that included the five senses, sensory tables and other age appropriate activities. Circle time was observed.

Six children's records and three staff records were reviewed. One medication and authorization was reviewed and in compliance.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview with staff, the center did not maintain a written record of daily attendance that documented arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: On September 29, 2022 at approximately 10 a.m. there was no written record of attendance. Attendance was maintained on a password protected, internet reliant tablet. A paper attendance sheet had not yet been completed by staff.
