Violations

2
Standard 8VAC20-800-350-E
Based on a temperature reading of a hot water tap available to children the water temperature exceeded the maximum 120 degrees.
Evidence:
A temperature reading was taken from the bathroom sink located next to the crib room. The temperature reading was measured at 130 degrees.
Plan of Correction: We will adjust the temperature so it does not exceed 120 degrees.
Standard 8VAC20-800-690-E
Based on observation of the diapering area, the foot operated receptacle used to dispose of soiled diapers is not hands free.
Evidence:
The step on pale used to dispose soiled diapers does not close automatically. Staff are required to close the lid using their hands.
Plan of Correction: We will purchase a new step on pale.
