Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 08/17/2022. Upon arrival there were 46 children in care and 9 staff present. The inspector conducted a tour of the facility, made observations of the program and conducted a record review. The inspector emailed the director/provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 5 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center did not ensure all hazardous substances not kept in original containers clearly indicated its contents.
Evidence:
There were spray bottles containing a liquid substance, in the school age room and in room 5. None of the bottles were labeled in a way to identify its contents.
Plan of Correction: All bottles have been labeled and clearly identified.

Based on observation the center did not ensure provision was made for an individual place for each child's personal belongings.
Evidence:
Children's book bags and clothing were hanging on unlabeled hooks in the hallway. The Assistant Director stated the children don't have a specific area to hang their belonging, just on the hooks.
Plan of Correction: Individual spaces have been created for each child's belongings and have been labeled.
