Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/10/2023. There were 26 children, ages 4 months-5years and 6 staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 children?s records and 3 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed during center time, circle time and lunch. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 10:30am and departed the center at 11:47am.

Discussion on standards related to diapering surfaces.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that all cribs, cots, rest mats or beds shall be identified for use by a specific child.

Evidence: The crib next to the window in the infant area was not labeled with the name of the specific child it was assigned to.
Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure crib is labeled with specific child's name.
