Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 3/20/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Based on observation, handwashing procedures were not all met.
Evidence:
1. When two children were finished eating their snack, the provider took them out of their high chairs and placed them down and did not have the children wash their hands. The children began coloring at the table and watching tv.
Plan of Correction: I will make sure to wash their hands before eating and after eating.
