Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 2/7/24 and concluded on 2/7/24. There were 12 children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 10:30am and concluded at 11:40am.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of documentation the facility failed to ensure that monthly practiced evacuation drills are conducted.

Evidence:

Documentation showed that there had not been a practiced emergency escape drill conducted in October 2023, December 2023, or January 2024.
Plan of Correction: Monthly drills will be conducted and recorded as required to ensure future compliance and safety of the children.
