8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of approximately 9:40 a.m. and 10:40 a.m, to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 3 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 4 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed watching television and playing with toys. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children, caregiver and household member records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. There were 0 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
