During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the monitoring inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in voluntary registration standards were reviewed during this SHSI.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The vendor shall ensure that the family day home does not exceed the capacity of children cared for as allowed by law or regulation. However, attendance records show that during the school year as many as seven children have been in care at one time where the maximum allowed for the voluntary registered homes in four children.

The vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. There was not an attendance record available for review for the day/week of the inspection.

Records, reports, and information required by this part shall be maintained in the home and made accessible to department's representative for five years after termination of services. Potentially poisonous substances, materials, and supplies such as, but not limited to, cleaning agents, disinfectants, deodorizers, plant care chemicals, pesticides, and petroleum distillates shall be stored away from food in areas inaccessible to children. There is pump bottle of hand sanitizer within reach of children in the bathroom. The label states "keep out of reach of children."

Tables and high chair trays shall be cleaned and sanitized daily and before and after each use for feeding. The table used to serve lunch to a child in care was not cleaned or sanitized before the child was placed at the table to eat lunch.
