8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations.
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/21/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:30am-1:30pm. There were 197 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 38 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, circle time, music time, working on crafts, playing outside, napping and eating lunch. Lunch today consisted of Spaghetti with meat sauce, grated cheese, salad and fresh fruit. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an adequate supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
