Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was started and ended on 02/07/24 from 11:45am until 12:40. Staff records were reviewed at the main office in the morning. There were 7 children and three staff present.

The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two staff records and 5 children?s records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center did not have all the required supplies in the first aid kit.
Evidence:
Their were no triangular bandages in the first aid kit.
Plan of Correction: Bandages will be ordered for the center.

Based on observation and interview, the center did not have all the required nonmedical supplies.
Evidence:
The flashlight did not have the correct sized batteries for the flashlight, staff confirmed this.
Plan of Correction: The correct sized batteries will be ordered for the center.
