Inspector Notes

An announced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 1:40pm-4:00pm. There were 140 children in the direct care and supervision of 39 staff. A sample of 5 children?s records, and 5 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed napping, playing and being picked up by parents. Three new rooms were measured for potential increase of capacity. Zero new staff have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Based on observation, hazardous substances, such as cleaning materials were not kept in a locked place.

Evidence:
Cleaning materials located in the "Moonfish Room" were in an unlocked cabinet.

Based on record review, the center did not maintain a complete record for each child enrolled.

Evidence:
1) The record of Child A was missing the employer phone number of both parents.
2) The record of Child B was missing the employer phone number of the mother.
