Violations

2
Standard 22.1-289.011-F
The license and any other documents required by the Superintendent shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.

The provider does not have the most recent license and inspection paperwork posted.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure we print out the new license and the most recent paperwork and that we hang the bulletin board up in the child care room.
Standard 8VAC20-800-240-A
Areas and furnishings of the family day home, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.

At the time of the inspection the carpet in the space used for childcare had pieces of food from earlier in the day all over the carpet.
The outside area, where children were playing, next to the house had a RC car charger with alligator clips left near an outlet
Plan of Correction: Carpet vacuumed during the inspection, we will rearrange so children are eating on the wooden floor not on the carpet.

RC charger removed during the inspection. I will remember to put it away after use.
