Inspector Notes

Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on April 27, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. though 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival, there were 12 children in the care of 2 staff ages 3-5. Three staff records and three children records were reviewed and updated. No medication is being administered at this time.

Areas observed were outside play, hand washing/bathroom procedures, transition and center activities. Children appeared to be well aware of the daily routine and schedule.

Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Please complete the plan of correction and date to be corrected within 5 business days.

Based on staff record review, one staff member did not meet program lead qualifications.

Evidence:
1. Three staff records were reviewed.
2. Staff #2 is serving as a program leader.
3. Review of Staff #2's record did not show documentation of meeting the program leader qualifications.
4. The director confirmed Staff #2 did not meet program leader qualifications.
Plan of Correction: Effective Monday, May 9th, Staff #2 will begin taking classes that are currently approved through Care Course Training Program in order to become fully qualified as lead teacher. Staff #2 should complete the 24 hours of training classes no later than 8/15/22.
