Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was conducted on September 13, 2022 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm to investigate a complaint regarding persons other than caregiver and household members residing in the home and more than 7 children in the program. The inspector observed the physical plant, staffing and supervision, attendance records, and staff records. There was no evidence to the allegation put forth in the complaint. The complaint is determined to be not valid.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations, not related to the complaint, were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the provider failed to obtain a criminal history records check prior to the 1st day of employment/service.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #2?s record did not have documentation of a criminal background check.
2. No records were available to review.
3. The provider acknowledged there was no criminal background check completed.
Plan of Correction: I will have her leave and make the appointment for the fingerprint.
