Inspector Notes
A renewal inspection was conducted on 5/15/2024. 36 children were directly supervised by 9 staff. The physical space, 5 children's records, 3 staff records, posted documents, medications, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, evacuation drills, attendance and other required documents were reviewed. Children were observed singing songs, doing various puzzles and table activities, going on outdoor walks, and engaging with the staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Child #6 had emergency medication on site and the center did not have the required Auvi-Q training to be able to administer the medication.
Evidence:
The written authorization for a medication listed "Epi-pen" however the medication obtained by the center was an "Auvi-Q."
