During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on November 12, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 9:10am and ended at 10:15am, The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 7 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 24. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 2 caregiver/household members records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program
Violations
7There were four outlets without child-resistant protective covers.
Four occupied cribs were lined up end to end touching each other.
Child #3 was sitting in an infant high chair without the safety strap used or securely fastened.
The record for child #2 has not has an annual review for over 16 months.
The family day home did not have documentation of an emergency evacuation drill being conducted in August, September or October, 2024.
The family day home shall obtain documentation of additional immunizations for a child who is not exempt from the immunization requirements every six months for children under the age of two.
Child #1 has not had a updated immunization record for over six months.
Bottles were not labeled with the child's full name and the date when more than one infant was in care.
