Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 4/12/2022. 67 children were directly supervised by 12 staff. The physical space, 3 children's records, new staff records, posted documents, the Emergency Preparedness Plan and other required documents were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed in age appropriate activities, engaging with the staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review and interview with the director, the facility did not implement a monthly practice fire drill. Evidence: The log showed the last fire drill conducted was in February. The director said they forgot to do one in March.
Plan of Correction: Going forward, we will put a reminder on our calendar to alarm us/remind us to do a drill each month.
