Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on March 12, 2023 from 9:50 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. There were six children present, ranging in ages from four months to five years old with one staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of three child records, one staff and one household member?s records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of records and interview, the provide failed to repeat background checks every five years.
Evidence:
1. The provider?s central registry background check was dated 10/30/2017. The provider confirmed that there was not an updated central registry background check on file.
2. Household Member #1?s central registry background check was dated 10/30/2017. The provider confirmed that there was not an updated central re background check on file for Household Member #1.
Plan of Correction: Process has begun to update background checks on both household members.
