8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety (SHSI) monitoring inspection was conducted on 9/28/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 10:25 am and ended at 12:30 pm. There were 3 caregivers with 6 children in one room at the time of the visit. Children were observed playing on yoga mats, pretend play with age-appropriate materials, musical activities, and other organized activities. Children?s files, emergency preparedness procedures and fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; and the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
