8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on October 17, 2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 9:30am and ended at 11:00am. There were 3 caregivers with 7 children in 1 room at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed playing with puzzles, dramatic play, and other organized activities. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements.
