8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on April 3, 2023, beginning at 1:15pm and ending at 2:30pm. No children were in attendance at the time of the inspection. Required background searches, training certificates and household member information was reviewed. A sample of requirements for daily attendance, child information/records, emergency preparedness planning and supplies were also reviewed. No medication on sight. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor. 1. Cleaning supplies (bleach, scrub cleaner, and detergent) were stored in the bathroom cabinet that is accessible to children.
Evidence: 1. No digital thermometer was in the fist aid kid.
2. The provider stated they did not have a digital thermometer.
