During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above, to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on July 23, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 10am and ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 11 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 6 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Any individual required to undergo a background check shall authorize the child day center to obtain a copy of the results of a criminal history record information check, a sex offender registry check, and a search of the child abuse and neglect registry in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years. Staff #1, employed for over 2 months, has lived in another state outside of Virginia the past 5 years and no out-of-state background checks were completed.
Plan of Correction: The center's plan of correction: The center will obtain the Out-Of-State background checks and provide the results to the DOE within 10 business days.
