Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted at 11:35am. There were 3 children present = 4 points with the Provider + Assistant #1. A household member was also present. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed playing with toys, drawing, and reading books. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Caregivers were talking and playing with the children. Based on observations made, it was determined that medications were not kept in a locked place. Evidence: A prescription medication was observed unlocked on a counter in the room where children eat.
Plan of Correction: The provider moved the medication to a locked cabinet during the inspection.
