Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted 12/06/2023 from 11:35 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. There were 29 children present, ranging in ages from five months to four years old with 14 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of records, the center failed to ensure that staff completed the department?s health and safety update course annually.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2 completed the department's preservice training on 03/21/2022. Staff #7 confirmed that Staff #2 had completed the department's health and safety update course annually.
Plan of Correction: Staff #2 will complete health and safety update by 12/18/23.
