Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. There were 105 children in care being supervised by 19 staff members. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on interview and review of medication it was determined that not all procedures for medication were followed. Evidence: The medication on site for child B had an expiration date of December 2021. The medication on site for child C had an expiration date of January 2022.
Plan of Correction: The expired medication will be sent home.
