Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:57am-10:32am with the provider on site. There were 11 children with 3 caregivers. A sample of 2 children's files and 4 caregivers/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: playing outside and naptime. Interactions between the children and caregivers were positive. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. The physical space, attendance records, first aid kit, drill record and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. There were no medications on site. 1. The provider had the inspection notice posted from the 9/06/2022 inspection, but did not have the most recent inspection notice from 1/31/2023 posted.
Based on interview, two caregivers did not obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of
training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities In addition to satisfactory
completion of first aid training and CPR training,
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #1 (start date June 2021) and Caregiver #2 (start date 10/25/2021) did not have 16 hours of training.
