Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:30am-1:20pm. There were 45 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 12 staff. The physical plant, staff records, children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Policies and procedures regarding sick children and staffing were also discussed. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and eating lunch. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an supply of materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
