Inspector Notes
A unannounced complaint investigation was initiated on August 26, 2022 and regarding the two year old classroom in response to care and protection of children and feeding of children. Interviews were conducted, and documentation and video-camera footage were reviewed. There was preponderance of evidence to support the allegation regarding care, programs, daily activities. The complaint related violations and one non-related violation are identified in the Violation Notice.

Violations
5Evidence:
1. In the classroom of two year old's, from 8:00 am to 9:45 am, staff members did not follow the daily activity schedule for the classroom.
2 When children entered in the classroom for morning arrival, there was no teacher facilitated acivities. The children were observed running and then sat at the table to be served breakfast.
3. Staff member was observed with back to children during the time they were running in the classroom.
he children were running for a few minutes and then sat at the table. There was no activity given the children while they sat at the table waiting to be served for breakfast.
3. Wen the children entered the classroom, here was no handwashing before preparing to eat morning breakfast.

Conduct classroom observations to regular basis by admin team.
Evidence:
1. Staff member was observed grabbing a child under the arms to sit the child in a chair.
2. Staff member took a toy out of a child's hand and tossed it on the floor. Staff member then grabbed the child by under the arms, lift the child up and walked with child to the table to sit the child down in the chair.
Evidence:
1. Staff did not direct or assist children with washing hands as they enter the classroom.
2. Children entered the classroom, put up belongings, and sat at the table to be served breakfast.
Evidence:
1. In the classroom of two year old children, children were served breakfast.
2. Staff was standing over the counter talking to other staff.
3. Staff did not sit with the children at any time they were eating breakfast.
Evidence:
1. A child was observed walking around the classroom drinking from a sippy cup.
2. Staff was at the counter and appeared to be waiting on other children to be served breakfast before staff took the cup from the child.
