Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/27/23 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with the provider. There were five children in care, ranging in age from eight-months to six-years-old, for a total of 12 points. Children were observed having free play, reading books, practicing reciting a poem, singing songs, and doing math. An infant was observed waking from a nap and having their diaper changed. Lunch today will be chicken, rice, spinach, bananas, and milk. Four child records, one caregiver record, and one household member record were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider?s Medication Administration Training has expired and she understands that she must obtain certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) in order to give medication. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. Based on review of caregiver and household member records, the provider did not obtain the results of a national, fingerprint-based criminal history check and a sworn disclosure statement every five years for caregivers and household members. Evidence: The most recent fingerprints on record for Caregiver A and Household Member A were dated 1/29/18. The most recent sworn disclosures on record for Caregiver A and Household Member A were dated 2/22/18.
