22.1 EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION
Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was conducted on June 23, 2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The director and a member of management were present and assisted with the inspection. There were 9 children present, ranging in ages from three years to five years, with two staff supervising. Children were combined in one classroom where they were playing in centers that consisted of housekeeping, science, magnetic blocks and trains. Later children washed their hands before sitting down for snack. Children also participated in an activity working on their skills with scissors.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and upervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of four child records and four staff record were reviewed. The inspector interacted with staff and children in care.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
