22.1 EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION
Inspector Notes
A renewal inspection was conducted on August 28, 2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 3:15 pm until 4:45 pm. The director wase present and assisted with the inspection. There were 18 children present, ranging in ages from three years to five years, with three staff supervising. Upon the inspector?s arrival children were listen to a story in one class and the other class was playing in the indoor playroom due to rain. Later children played in centers consisting of blocks, drawing with stencils, ocean animals and stinging cards. Children were eager to show the inspector photos of their families that were on display.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of four child records and four staff record were reviewed. The inspector interacted with staff and children in care. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
