Inspector Notes
A renewal inspection was completed on July 12, 2023.There were 34 children present with 8 staff supervising including an administrative staff on site. There were observations at the center of the children in care preparing for lunch, eating lunch, engaged in outdoor playground activities, completing bathroom breaks/handwashing, interacting with peers and staff, tummy time, playing with age appropriate equipment, circle time, and diapering by staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations
4Evidence: In Staff #2's record (date of hire: 03/02/2023) there were no central registry findings found. Interview with staff confirmed the findings were not available for review during the inspection.
Evidence:
1. In the Cat 1 classroom, there were multiple areas of peeling paint along the side of the window sills accessible to the children in care.
2. The center's school aged playground area had visible peeling paint on multiple areas of the playground equipment.
3. The black border surrounding the school age playground equipment was observed with a split in the center that could create a tripping hazard.
4. Photographs were taken of these observations at the center during the inspection.
Evidence: In the Butterflies classroom, there was a bottle of antibacterial hand soap with the labels "keep out of reach of children" and "warning" unlocked and accessible to the children.

In Child#2 record, there was no documentation of proof of the child's identify and age found. Interview with staff confirmed this documentation was not available for review during the inspection.
In Child# 4 record, there was not a written care plan for a diagnosed food allergy found. Interview with staff confirmed this documentation was not available for review during the inspection.
