Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on April 6, 2022 and concluded on April 6, 2022. There were 35 children present, ranging in ages from Infant to School - age, with 9 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center was not maintained in a safe and operable condition inside and outside.

Evidence:
1. In the lunch and nap room, a beam running from the ceiling to the floor has exposed drywall and the metal corner framing was exposed with jagged edges.

Based on observation, the center did not ensure all hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, are kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
1. In the Infant and Toddler area, on top of one set of cubbies was one container with Lysol labeled ?Caution? and ?Keep Out of Reach of Children?, one container of Clorox wipes labeled ?Caution? and ?Keep Out of Reach of Children?, one container of Super San Cloth labeled ?Physical and Chemical Hazard,? ?Warning?, and ?Keep Out of Reach of Children?. One container of Microban Sanitizing Spray labeled ?Caution,? ?Hazardous?, and ?Keep Out of Reach of Children? was not locked to prevent access by children.
2. On top of a cabinet near bathrooms, two containers of Lysol labeled ?Caution? and ?Keep Out of Reach of Children? was not locked to prevent access by children.
