Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/15/2022. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 5 children, totaling 19 points. The children were engaged in free play activities, song and dance time, art projects, playing outside, and eating lunch from home.
The Inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administrative records, children's records, background checks, programming, emergency preparedness, nutrition, and the physical plant.

Based on a review of staff background checks, it was determined that one required Virginia Central Registry background search has not been completed.
Evidence:
Staff B began employment on 6/6/2022. The provider has not submitted the Virginia Central Registry background search request for this staff person.
Plan of Correction: The CPS search request will be completed and submitted this weekend.
