Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 9/19/2024. The on-site inspection began at 9:15am and ended at 10:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were (7) children present and (3) staff. The inspector reviewed (2) children?s records and (3) staff records on-site on 9/19/2024. This inspection included document review of emergency drill logs, tour of the facility and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The center is required to have employees undergo a background check every five years.

The most recent central registry check and fingerprint background check tor staff #1 was overdue by a year and two months.
Plan of Correction: I will have her make an appointment by next Friday. We will send for it by next Friday.
Standard 8VAC20-780-160-C
A tuberculosis (TB) screening is required every two years from the last screening.

Staff #1 and Staff #2's updated screening was due 1 year ago. The updated screenings have not yet been completed.
Plan of Correction: We will get an appointment next week by Friday.
