Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 10:15am. Observed 7 children = 18 points with the Provider. Ratios were not maintained, though supervision was in compliance. Children were playing with toys, reading books and having story time, dancing to child appropriate music videos, and taking a water break. Children participated in cleaning up toys after each activity. Each child brings their own food daily. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. The provider was actively engaged with the children and leading activities. An infant in care was given play time on the floor. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov
