During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 1/30/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:55am and ended at 1:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 11 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-245-A
REPEAT VIOALTION
Staff shall complete annually a minimum of 16 hours of training appropriate to the age of children in care.
Staff #2 did not have any documentation of training hours, staff #3 had documentation of 6:16 training hours, staff #4 had had documentation of 11:16 and staff #3 had documentation of 3:16 for the past year.
Plan of Correction: Director to ensure all staff obtain required hours annually by increasing opportunities for staff to attend/participate in trainings available.
Standard 8VAC20-780-260-B
After the first license, annual approval from the health department shall be provided, or approvals of a plan of correction, for meeting requirements for water supply, sewage disposal system; and food service.

The center did not have an environmental sanitation health inspection on file. Director stated they were unaware that this is an annual requirement.
Plan of Correction: Director will contact Health Department today, to have inspection completed.

The center's emergency preparedness and response plan shall be reviewed annually and each time the plan is updated.

The center did not have documentation of the plan review or update since its creation over a year ago.
